IEEE SMC 2026 is pleased to welcome Quanser as a Bronze Partner of this year’s conference.

At IEEE SMC 2026, Quanser, the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (SMCS), and the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) are collaborating to launch the AI-Powered Collaborative Autonomy (AICA) Challenge 2026, a new student competition focused on AI-driven collaborative autonomy for future smart cities. As part of IEEE SMC 2026, the AICA Challenge will provide students with a hands-on opportunity to develop innovative AI solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles, ground vehicles, and human-centered smart-city applications. Quanser is a global leader in hands-on solutions for engineering education and research, with over 35 years of experience in real-time control, robotics, autonomous systems, and applied AI. Through partnerships with multiple institutions, Quanser helps students bring theory to life, and researchers validate new ideas.
