Overview
The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC’26) invites submissions of two-page abstracts for late-breaking research results.
This track provides an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present timely new ideas, emerging results, innovative applications, ongoing projects, and recent developments that would benefit from discussion with the SMC community. It is intended for work that is promising, relevant, and technically meaningful, but may not yet be mature enough for a full conference paper.
Accepted 2-page abstracts will be scheduled for presentation at the conference and included in the technical program. However, they will not be published in the conference proceedings and will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.
Scope
Submissions are welcome in all areas related to systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, cybernetics, and interdisciplinary topics aligned with the conference theme.
Submission Guideline
Authors should submit a two-page abstract through the PaperCept submission system. Each abstract should clearly describe:
