Important Submission Update-IEEE SMC 2026

In response to numerous requests from prospective authors, IEEE SMC 2026 will open a final two-week extended submission period following the deadline on April 19, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST. This will be the last submission opportunity, and no further extension is planned.

This additional submission window is designed to accommodate more high-quality papers while allowing the review process to commence on schedule. The extended categories labelled “Extended Submission' will mirror the existing paper types. Papers submitted during this extended period will be subject to the same rigorous peer-review process and acceptance standards as papers submitted by the original deadline.
